Hearing Aid & Speech Systems is sincerely interested in helping people with hearing loss and seeing that they find help. As a result, we are members of the American Tinnitus Association, active in the Sarasota/Manatee County Deaf Service Center, Members of the Sarasota County Aging Network (SCAN), and Members of Hearing Education Awareness for Rockers (HEAR). Therefore if you have a question concerning hearing loss or its effects, please give us a call. If we cannot answer your question, we will be glad to put you in contact with someone who can.
Occasionally we are asked to speak to groups about hearing loss. We will be happy to provide your group with such a program. We regularly do these talks for mobile home parks, assisted living communities, and the public. We have even provided a hearing safety talk to the City of Sarasota. If you are interested in having a speaker at your next event, just give us a call or send us an e-mail and we will be glad to come.
Hearing Aid & Speech Systems also regularly hosts seminars at local restaurants. These seminars focus on clarifying some of the confusion regarding hearing aids. At these seminars we help people understand such things as, “What is nerve deafness?” “ The difference between Digital, Digitally Programmable, and Analog Aids.” “How directional aids work”. “What size hearing aid is best.” “How much hearing aids cost” etc. If you are interested in attending our next seminar, please contact us here by e-mail or give us a call at the number below.
